The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Gordon R. Possehn, 76, of Saranac passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2008.  He 
was preceded in death by his wife Keitha (Rowley) Possehn and brother 
LaVern “Bud” Possehn.  He is survived by five daughters; LinAnn (Terry) Blaser 
of Greenville, Jill (Frank) Smyth of Waterloo, Ind., Jan (John) VanWyk of 
Rockford, Kerri (John) Murphy of Ionia, Ami (Neil) Barkley of Fenwick, 13 
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by sisters; 
Virginia Wingeier of Smyrna, Jean (Jack) Staal of Lowell, several nieces, 
nephews, cousins and close friend Maggie.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 
29 at 1:30 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heath Street, Orleans, MI, 
Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  A luncheon will follow.  Burial will be at 
Easton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
