Bianca Possehn, 43, Easton Township, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1993, at her home 
following an extended illness.  Mrs. Possehn was born Nov. 29, 1949 in Ionia, 
the daughter of Ivan W. and Eleanor J. Winslow Postle.

A 1968 graduate of Ionia High School, she was a prominent Ionia business person 
and was currently the chairman of the Ionia County Board of Commissioners.  She 
was the owner-operator of Possehn Pool Supply in Ionia.  She was first elected 
to the Ionia County Commission in 1988 and became its chairperson in 1992.  She 
had been married to Ronald Possehn.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gregory (Tina) Possehn-Wolber, Ionia; one 
son, Ty Possehn, Saranac; her parents, Ivan and Eleanor Postle, Ionia; two 
brothers, and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Mary Postle and Ivan Duane and Sharon 
Postle, both of Ionia; nieces and one great-nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Saranac Community Church 
with the Rev. Stanley Hagenmeyer officiating.  Interment will be in Easton 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Cook 
Funeral Home, Ionia.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of 
Helping Hands.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
