Former Resident Mother of Eight Children Is Dead

Mrs. Amelia Possehn Passes Away, Detroit; Funeral Here Saturday Afternoon.

Mrs. Amelia Possehn, 59, former resident of Odessa and Berlin townships, passed
away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Schroeder, in Detroit, April 27 and
the body was shipped here, arriving Friday.  It was taken to the home of Mrs.
Marvin Church in Berlin township, a daughter.

The funeral was held from the residence Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock and from
the Lutheran church at 2:30 o’clock with the Rev. B.H. Succop in charge. 
Interment was made in Highland Park cemetery.

She is survived by each children, Clarance Possehn, Saranac; Mrs. Church,
Berlin; William Possehn, Portland township; Mrs. Schroeder, Detroit; Henry
Possehn, Pontiac; Mrs. Bertha Moe, Pontiac; Mrs. Mattie Grawl, Minnesota; and
August Possehn, Fresno, Calif.
