The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 27, 1931

Vira, the three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Post, of 
Clarksville, died Monday following an emergency operation in Pennock hospital, 
Hastings, Saturday night for appendicitis.  Funeral services will be conducted 
at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Burial will be in Clarksville.

The child is survived by the parents; an aged grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Post; 
two sisters, Mrs. Alma Stahl and Mrs. Bernice Erb, of Clarksville, and a 
brother, Dee Post, of Saranac.
