Services for Orleans Lady

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Post, 88, died Sunday at her home in Orleans township three
miles east of Belding, after a long illness.  She was born in Ontario, Canada,
Nov. 18, 1853, and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hinds, to Orange
township, Ionia county, when three years old.  She was married to Martin Post of
Orleans Sept. 20, 1876 and her entire life since her marriage was spent on the
farm where she died.  Mr. Post died about 20 years ago.  Survivors are two sons,
William of Orleans and Darwin of Hemlock; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lena Moys, of
St. Paul, Minn.; a step-grandson, and one brother, Albert Hinds of Orange
township.  Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 o’clock at the home with
Rev. Frank Loomis officiating.  Interment was in Orleans cemetery.
