Ionia Daily Standard, 1 Mar 1904

James B. Post, one of the old settlers of Campbell township, died of apoplexy
Sunday morning at the residence of his son, J.C. Post, in Clarksville, aged 65
years.  He was the father of John Post, who was so seriously injured in the Pere
Marquette wreck at East Paris.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Clarksville Cemetery.]
