She was one of eight children. She was united in marriage with Wesley George of Lake Odessa in 1897. To this union was born one daughter, Corinne, who has been her mother's constant companion and has tenderly cared for her. Mr.George departed this life in 1909. She was married to Walter Post of Lake Odessa, September 13, 1910. Mr.Post brought her, four motherless children and she was a devoted mother to them and saw to it that they were well brought up along with her own beloved daughter as their lives all attest. In 1911 they moved to the farm one mile northwest of Mulliken where they resided until Mr.Post's failing health demanded that he should ease up on heavy toil and he turned the helm over to his son Stanley, and they moved into Mulliken. Mr.Post preceded her in death 6 years ago. Those to survive are the daughter Corinne, Mrs.Rush Engelstad of Chicago, Mrs.Vera McRoberts of Muskegon, Dr.Kenneth Post of Ithaca,New York and Stanley Post of Mulliken, seven grand children, one sister,Mrs.Ella Compton of Grand Rapids. Also a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
