Boston cemetery. Geo. Post was the first settler south of Grand River and east of Train’s corners, taking up from the government what is now known as the Needham farm and literally hewing his home out of the wilderness. By hard labor he prospered and was one of the standbys in the building of the M. E. church here. About twenty years ago he sold his property here and settled in Illinois, where he resided since. He was well known by the older inhabitants and had a number of relative in this section.
