Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Feb 1998

Lavon M. Postle, 73, of Ionia died Feb. 13, 1998.  She was born Aug. 27, 1924 in
Wannakee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Doll) Kreul.  She went on
to marry Omer Postle June 2, 1945.  He preceded her in death in September 1985.
 She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.  She was active at the
church as a Teachers Aide and worked on the Funeral Luncheon Committee.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Gillman of Belding and Mary Postle of
Ionia; brother, Donald and Cathy Kreul of Wisconsin; sister, Beverly Kreul of
Wisconsin; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 12 p.m. at SS. Peter & Paul
Catholic Church with Rev. Melvin Fox Celebrant.  Visitation will be at the Lake
Funeral Home in Ionia on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. where a Scripture service will be held at 8 p.m.  Anyone wishing may make
contributions to American Cancer Society, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, or
The Ionia Animal Shelter.  Envelopes are available at the Funeral Home.
