The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 28, 1958


Funeral service for Clarence E. Potter of Lyons, who died Monday morning, was 
held Thursday afternoon at the Lyons Baptist church.  The Rev. Elmer Ubbink 
officiated.  Organist was Mrs. Lawrence Albright, and MRs. Francis Ralph as 
vocalist.  Interment was in Tuttle cemetery.

Bearers were Chester Gladding, Walter Drake, Norman Wakefield, Perry Wood, 
Gerald Benjamin and Ray Dickerson.

Attending from out of town were the following:  Edmund Wilson, Detroit; Arnold 
Potter, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. John Peek, Ada; Russell Quigley, Muskegon; Mr. 
and Mrs. Ralph Davenport, Goodrich; Royal Davenport, Greenville and Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, 
Portland.
