Betty was born Sept. 4, 1928, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Guy and Lorena Anderson Wright. She graduated from Belding High School in 1946 and worked as a waitress at Circle W and Driftway in Belding for many years. Betty is survived by two daughters, Diana Potter of Belding and Carol Jager of Orleans; granddaughter, Danica and Tommy Groom; three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Lauren and Caden; and sister, Wanda Worsley of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Doris Olger. In keeping with her wishes, Betty will be cremated and no services will take place. Memorial contributions may be given to Mel Trotter Ministries or Safe Haven Animal Shelter.
