Excerpts from Greenville Obituary
JOEL S. POTTER of Belding
Died Saturday November 14, 2020-age 70 at Grand Rapids Hospital.
Born April 22, 1950 in Greenville.
Son of Dale and Dorothy (Rodell) Potter.
Graduated Belding High School in class of 1969.
Earned Associated degree from Ferris State University.
Worked as Service Manager at Thomet Chevrolet in Lowell, later an automotive 
investigator for the State of Michigan.
Joel loved farming & restoring old cars.
Married on September 18, 1993 in Rockford to Jeri L.Cody.
Survived by wife, Jeri and their children, Jason Potter of Belding, Erin (Shawn) 
Hager of Caledonia, Brynn (Dane) Sexton of Ada, David Chase of Charlotte, NC, 
grandchildren,Owen, Aiden, Gracyn, Mattie and Matthew.
Also siblings Jerry (Pat) Potter of Grand Rapids, his twin sister, Jan (Dan) 
Wilson of Saugatuck and Keith (Jodi) Potter of Ronoke, IN.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place, no public service.
Memorial contributions many be made to Farm Aid,(An organization formed to help 
sustain small family owned farms).
