                               L.JEAN POTTER

LAKE ODESSA-L.Jean Potter, 68 of Charlotte, died at Hayes-Green Beach Hospital 
in Charlotte Saturday, July 6.

She was born November 24, 1916 in Wayland to Glen and Myrta Carpenter Jackson. 
She graduated from Middleville High School n 1934.

On August 3, 1938 she married Forrest Potter in Wayland. Mrs.Potter worked for 
several years at the Woodland Insurance company and at Hastings Manufacturing 
Company.

She was a member of the united Methodist Church of Woodland and a member of the 
Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Jackson of Muskegon, Thomas of Charlotte, 
Alan of Parma; six grandchildren; two brothers, George Jackson of Wayland and 
Robert Jackson of Richland; three sisters, Margaret Buddemier of Lakeworth Fla., 
Barbara Rendell of Grand Rapid and Avis Martin of Gun Lake.

Funeral services will be preformed by Rev.Vern Summers and will start at 1:30 
p.m. on Tuesday at Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa. Burial will be at the 
Woodland Memorial Park.

A memorial has been set up for Muscular Dystrophy.
