Portland Library Scrapbook - April 1892

Died-At the home of his son-in-law, Nelson Wainright, in Danby, Wednesday April 
20, 1892, Andrew J.Potter, aged 84.

Mr.Potter was born in Washington County,N.Y., and came to Michigan when a young 
man, locating in the eastern part of the state. In 1946 he moved into Danby 
Township and resided there until his death. 

He is survived by his aged wife, and daughter,Mrs.Nelson Wainright. The funeral 
was held Friday,April 22d, at which Rev. R.H. Bready officiated.The remains were 
interred in the Danby Cemetery, by the side of those of his daughter, 
Mrs.W.M.Meyers.
