Funeral rites were held in Morris Funeral Home at Saranac Monday afternoon for 
E. Bert Potter, 74, who passed away at Blodgett hospital on Saturday after an 
illness of several months.

Mr. Potter resided in Boston township on M21 east of Lowell on the farm where 
he was born and where he always lived except for 18 years in Grand Rapids 
where he was a co-partner in the Wolverine Tea & Coffee Co.  He returned to 
the farm in 1920, remaining as long as he lived.  He was a member of Boston 
Lodge F & AM at Saranac.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle and son Keith of Pontiac.
