The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 5, 1923
The funeral for Mrs. Elmer Pouch was held from the late residence, 420 North 
King street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. W. T. Woodhouse of the 
Baptist church officiated.  The bearers were Eugene Vohlers, Charles Marsh, 
Mr. Wortley, Ernest Cater, John Sherwood, and Elmer Sherwood.  The ladies in 
charge of the flowers were Mrs. Viggo Nielson, Mrs. Harry Morgan and Mrs. 
Harry Harter.  Burial took place in the Highland Park cemetery.  Those from 
away were Miss Sarah Pouch and Mrs. Elizabeth Sage, of St. Johns; Arvine Pouch 
and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pouch, of Cadillac.
