The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 13, 1962
Mrs. Mary Pouff, 78, of route two, Lake Odessa, died Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. 
at Ionia rest home where she was a patient several months.  She was previously 
confined at Pennock hospital in Hastings seven months with a fractured hip.  
She was born February 14, 1884 in Odessa township, the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Abraham Keefer, and was married to Clifford Pouff, January 2, 1906.  Mrs. 
Pouff spent her entire life in Sebewa Center and Odessa township areas.  She 
is survived by her husband and one brother, Vern Keefer of Portland.  Funeral 
service will be conducted at Pickens funeral chapel Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with 
burial at Lakeside cemetery.  The Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.
