Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Aug. 30, 1988


IONIA – funeral services for Stanley M. Powell of Ionia were held 11 a.m. 
Monday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chester Tanasee officiating. 

Organist was Dorothy Horrocks, pianist Cindy Holliday.

Eulogies were given by Elton Smith, Robert Smith, Bela Kennedy and the master 
of the Michigan State Grange.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leslie Stedman, Elton 
Smith, Gerald Burrows, Douglas Hyde, Gordon Francisco, and Bruce Boroff.

Following services, luncheon was served for family and friends at First Baptist 
Church.
