Sharon Marie Powell, 60, of Belding, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2003, at
Spectrum Health-Blodgett Campus, Grand Rapids.   She was born Aug. 12, 1942, in
Ionia, daughter of Orville and Virgil Trumble Oyler.  Sharon married Roy O.
Powell on Aug. 12, 1960, in Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Gordon and Rodney. 
She is survived by her husband, Roy O. Powell; their children, Phil Powell, Kay
and Steve Grundy, Kim Hamilton, all of Belding; her mother, Virgil Oyler of
Ionia; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Justin, Dale, Amy, Chad and Stephanie;
great-grandchildren, Dakota and Joey; and brother and sister, Larry and Carol
Oyler of Sheridan and Connie Parker and James Washburn of Oklahoma.

Funeral and committal services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger, of Shiloh Community Church,
officiating.  Interment is in Greene Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow the
service at Shiloh Community Church.  Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
