Harry Martin Powell, 67 of rural Belding, died Saturday morning, April 24, 2010,
at Metron of Greenville.  Harry was born April 30, 1942, in Belding, the son of
Otis and Martha VanConant Powell.  In earlier years Harry had worked at area farms.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Minnie Letterman; two
brothers, Edward Powell, Thomas Powell; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Powell. 
Gary is survived by his siblings, Roy Powell of Belding, John and Phyllis Powell
of Ionia, Florence and Lawrence Belding of Saranac, Harvey Powell of Belding;
and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor William Overton of Family Life Center Church of God
officiating.  Private interment will follow in Greene Cemetery, Belding. 
Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Memorials may be given to the
American Diabetes Association.
