Young Life Gone.

Mina Powers Dies of Consumption Last Sunday.

Mina Powers, who, for the past two years has been living with her uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Christian, died Sunday morning at four o’clock.  The
deceased was about 12 years old and contracted that dread disease, consumption,
several months ago, since which time she has been slowly wasting away.  She was
born near Stanwood, to which place the remains were taken Monday at 5:30
o’clock, after a brief service held at the residence.
