Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tues., Jan. 20, 1925
Richard Prankard, aged 65, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Delbert Pulsifer, 468 Lincoln  avenue, Monday afternoon at 3:30 following a 
brief illness. Sunday morning Mr. Prankard suffered a stroke in his left side 
and rallied but little before his death.

Mr. Prankard was a lifelong resident of Ionia county. He was born in Ionia city 
in 1858  and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Prankard. Mr. and Mrs. Prankard 
celebrated their forty fourth wedding anniversary last September. For many 
years they resided on a farm in Ronald township.  About five years ago they 
came to Ionia to make their home with their daughter.

Mr. Prankard was a member the Woodman lodge and a member of the Church of 
Christ at Woodard lake.  He is survived by his widow  and daughter and two 
grandchildren. 

the funeral will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Pulsifer Thursday 
afternoon at 1:30 . Rev. S Decker will conduct the service. Burial will take 
place at Woodard Lake cemetery.
