Ionia Standard – Friday, 18 August 1905

Mrs. Aaron Pratt of Keene died on Friday night, at the ripe old age of 85 
years.  She was a sister of the well-known Michigan pioneer, Dorus M. Fox.  
She early settled in Oakland County, and came to Ionia about 1840.  She was a 
member of the Ionia County Pioneer Society, and had many acquaintances among 
the older people who loved her dearly.  Funeral on Sunday afternoon at 2 
o’clock, attended from the residence in Keene.  Interment in Saranac.
