Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Jan. 8, 1961

Mrs. May Burr Pratt, 85, passed away December 29, at her home in Nashville. Her 
early life was spent in this community where she was married to Louis E. Pratt, who

died several years ago. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Hale Sackett, of Nashville and a

son, Gerald of Texas. A daughter, Mrs. Helen Young, preceded her in death. Five 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive, also a brother, Charles Burr, of

Pontiac, three sisters, Mrs. Alma Greuix, of Texas, Mrs. June Behler of St. Paul and

Mrs. Bess Purniss of Detroit. Funeral service was held in Nashville and interment 
was in South Boston cemetery.
