Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Feb 1999

Leonard D.D. Prebble, 76, former Lyons resident, passed away Friday, Feb. 12,
1999.  He was born July 25, 1922, in Lansing, the son of Vernon and Freida
Prebble.  He was a 1940 graduate of Holt High School, and retired from
Oldsmobile in Lansing.  He was married to Betty Carl, who passed away in 1990. 
He was a member of Lansing Moose lodge #288, and came to Lyons in 1992.

Survivors include a son, Terry (Helen) Prebble of Lansing; two daughters, Carol
(Danny) Simon of Lyons, and Wendy (Edward) Mason of Fenwick; a brother, L.D.
Prebble of Dansville; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was
preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, two brothers, and four sisters.  

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be in June.  Arrangements
were by Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
