Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 27 Nov 1951

Glenn M. Prentice, 59, of Portland Route 1 died at the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital Tuesday morning, November 27, after being a patient since Friday 
evening. 

He was born February 6, 1892, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Prentice, in Early, 
Iowa.  He spent his early life in Iowa.  In 1928 he married Bertha Graul at 
Whitebear, Minn., and then moved to Chicago where he was employed for over 20 
years as an electrician with the U.S. Steel company.  He moved to Portland 
about a year ago.

His sole survivor is his wife.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  
Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.
