The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 11, 1935
Funeral services for Miss Wilma Prescott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest 
Prescott, Ionia township, who died Friday morning after a week’s illness of 
appendicitis, were held from the North Plains union church Sunday afternoon at 
2 o’clock.  Rev. Chester A. Barr, pastor of that church and Rev. Paul L. 
Stewart, pastor of the Ionia Church of Christ, conducted the services and 
bearers were John Eckley, Donald Eckley, Fred Young, Kenneth Ludwick, Carl 
Higgins and Gerald Robinson Jr.  Music was rendered by Mrs. Melvin Burtraw and 
Mrs. Rolland Allen, of Muir.  Interment was at North Plains cemetery.
