Dorothy Prescott, 87, of Pontotoc, Miss. and formerly of Muir, ascended into 
Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 with her family by her side.

She was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Lansing. She was a member of First Baptist 
Church in Pontotoc, Miss. She was the mother of 11 children, grandmother of 51, 
great-grandmother of 56 and great-great-grandmother of 8.

The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Shiloh 
Community Church, Orleans with Pastor Kendal Harger officiating. A luncheon 
will be served immediately afterward.
