The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, August 26, 1959
Mrs. Olive Prescott, 86, passed away Tuesday morning at the Hastings nursing 
home after a long illness.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Bishop, 
Sunfield, Mrs. Ethelyn Clay, Ionia, and Mrs. Meredith Hetrick, Kalamazoo; one 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Archie Smith of Sunfield; one step-son, Vern Guy of Grand 
Rapids, one sister, Mrs. Etha Amon of Sunfield, three grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield 
Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Cherry of Lansing officiating.  
Interment will be in the Danby cemetery.
