Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 24 Sep 1960

Frankie Preston, 79, of 516 Harrison street, died at the Ionia Rest home Friday
at 11:30 a.m.  She had been a patient four months.  Miss Preston had lived at
her present residence 40 years.  She was born October 22, 1880 in Ionia county,
the daughter of Howard C. and Mary Ella Preston.

Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Kyle and Mrs. Francis Gulson of Detroit.

Funeral will be held at the Boynton funeral home Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the
Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of the First Christian church officiating.  Burial
will be at Highland Park cemetery.
