The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 1, 1952
Mrs. N. Floy Preston, 67, of 427 Rich street died at the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital Monday, June 30, at 8 p.m.  She was admitted there on June 21 as a 
medical patient.  She was born May 10, 1885 in Fenwick, moving to Ionia in 
1917.  Her husband, Cass, preceded her in death in December 1947.  She was a 
member of the Evangelical U.B. church and the Ionia O.E.S.  

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home.  
Officiating will be the Rev. Roger Stessman.  Burial will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Heilman of Lowell, a son, William P. 
Preston, of Lansing; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three 
brothers, Fred Loree of Lansing, Harry Loree of Lewiston and Minton Loree of 
Flint.
