Ionia County News, 15 May 1958

Floyd A. Price, 71, of Route 1, Lyons, (4730 Goodwin Road) died Sunday, May 4, 
at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  He had been a patient there for two 
weeks.

He was born August 11, 1886 in Orange Township, the son of Charles and Hattie 
Price.  Mr. Price lived most of his life in Ionia.  November 29, 1911 he was 
married to Estella Badder.  For twenty years he was a director of Riker School.

Surviving are his wife, Estella; one daughter, Mrs. Leo E. (Marian) Green of 
Tucson, Arizona; one son, Donald Price of South Ionia; eight grandchildren; and 
two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Croll, Route One, Lyons, and Mrs. Burton Rington of 
Route two, Ionia.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 7, at the First Christian Church with 
the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating.  Interment was in Balcom Cemetery.  
Funeral arrangements were made by the Stone-Kauffman Funeral Home.
