Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 5 Jul 1938

Edward John Price, 56, died suddenly Monday afternoon, July 4, at 1:15 o’clock 
at his home, 316 Baldie street.  He was born December 2, 1881, in Indiana, the 
son of Oscar and Alice Price.  September 6, 1904, he was married to Alice 
Kilmartin, of Orange township, who survives.  He had been a resident of Ionia 
many years, coming to Michigan when a small boy.  He was a member of the SS. 
Peter and Paul church and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving beside the wife is a twin sister, Miss Edna M. Price, of 420 Harter 
street.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, July 7, at 9:00 o’clock 
from the Ionia SS. Peter and Paul church, with interment in Mount Olivet 
cemetery.
