The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, June 12, 1901

Conrad Price, for 51 years a resident of Ionia, died at his home on East 
Lincoln avenue, at two o’clock this morning.  He had been in feeble health for 
many months, and finally yielded to heart weakness.  Deceased was born in 
Wurtemberg, Germany, in 1831.  he was one of the most widely known of the 
German residents of the county.  The aged wife survives, as also do two 
children, a son and a daughter.  The funeral will be attended from the home, 
312 East Lincoln Ave., at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Rev. W. H. B. Urch officiating, 
and interment will be in Highland Park.
