Mrs. Georgianna Price, 92, of Belding died Wednesday at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Homer Olger, in Greenville where she had made her home for the 
past three or four years.

Mrs. Price was born in Marshall, November 12, 1863 and was married January 12, 
1882 to William Henry Price in Marshall.  She had lived in Belding for 62 
years prior to going to live with her daughter in Greenville.

Mrs. Price was an amateur artist and was known in and around Belding as Ionia 
county’s Grandma Moses.  Much of her work was displayed in the Belding public 
library.  The story of her life, written by Mrs. Price, is on the shelves of 
the Belding library.

Surviving besides her daughter, Mrs. Olger, are two sons, Dr. Earl Price and 
Dr. Ray Price, both of Belding; seven grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Fitzjohn 
funeral home with the Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating.  The body will be placed 
temporarily in the Mausoleum at River Ridge cemetery and will be interred at a 
later date.
