Price, 50, of 518 High, who suffered a heart attack at work Christmas evening and was pronounced dead on arrival to Ionia County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Price was born March 15, 1916 in Ionia county and was the son of Floyd and Estella Price. He graduated from Farwell high school and the family moved back to Ionia on a farm near Portland. March 30, 1940 he married Marion Mulford in Ionia where they made their home. Mr. Price then went to work at Atlas Drop Forge in Lansing for ten years followed by employment at Ionia Manufacturing seven years. After leaving Ionia Manufacturing in 1958 he worked as a self-employed carpenter and for the last few years worked for James Hearld contractors. July 5, he married Gleneth Moore. He was a member of Ionia Loyal Order of Moose lodge. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Floyd Price of Tucson, Arizona, wife Gleneth; two sons, Barry Price of Crystal and Larry Price of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. Vicki Misner and Sally Price of Ionia, a sister, Mrs. Leo Green of Tucson, Arizona, grandmother, Mrs. Walter Badder of Ionia and four grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Rev. Kendall of First Christian church will officiate with burial in Balcom cemetery.
