Tamara L. Priest, age 46 of Ionia, passed away with injuries sustained in a car
accident on Dec. 14, 2015.  She was born Jan. 28, 1969, in Ionia, the daughter of
Gerald and Nancy (Piper) Werner.  Tamara married Michael Priest on Sept, 9, 1995, in
Ionia.  She graduated the Class of 1987 from Carson City High School.  Tamara worked
at Amway for the last 21 years.  She loved cars, especially Fords, and traveling.

Tamara is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Michael Priest of Ionia;
parents, Gerald and Nancy Werner of Ionia; sister, Michelle Werner of Ionia; nieces
and nephews, Seth Ruid, Kaitlyn Ruid and Karly Ruid; mother-in-law, Reba Priest of
Ionia; brother-in-law, Dennis Priest of Ionia; sisters-in-law, Patricia Priest of
Muir, Roberta (Timothy) Perry of Ionia, and Debbie (James)Thalison of Lyons; many
other nieces, nephews and loving, supportive friends, special neighbors and
coworkers.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Werner and
father-in-law, Robert Priest.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with Pastor Shane Pruitt officiating.  Visitation on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at
the funeral home.  Those wishing may make contributions in Tamara’s name to the
Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
