Frederick H. Priest, 85, died Dec. 1, 1995 at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. 
He was born in Ionia on Feb. 28, 1910, the son of Walter and Louise (Burns)
Priest.  He attended Ionia schools and retired in 1977 from Keeler Brass in Lake
Odessa.  He was married Oct. 3, 1931, to Esther Bigelow.  They have lived in the
Lyons-Muir area since 1959.

He is survived by wife Esther, of Ionia; sons Robert (Reba) Priest, of Ionia,
and William (Edna) Priest, of Lyons; daughters Doris (Clayton) Eby, of Saranac,
Donna (Marion) Cotton, of Oscoda and Mary (William) Reynolds, of Muir; 19
grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. 
Priest was preceded in death by his parents, one son and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Hull Memorial Chapel in
Muir with Rev. Don Wells of the Lyons-Muir Church officiating.  Burial will be
in the Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and
Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis foundation and may
be left at the funeral home.
