Robert H. Priest, age 79, of Ionia, passed away January 25, 2014 in Lowell.  He 
was born December 28, 1934 in Lansing the son of Frederick and Esther (Bigelow) 
Priest.  Robert married Reba Wallace August 8, 1955 in Ionia. 

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Reba Priest of Ionia; 
children, Patricia Priest and fiancé Robert Schmitz of Pewamo, Roberta 
(Timothy) Perry of Ionia, Dennis (Darlene) Priest of Tennessee, Debra (James) 
Thalison of Lyons and Michael (Tami) Priest of Ionia; grandchildren, Marc (Kim) 
Thalison, Steve (Heather) Thalison, Anthony Campbell and Kristina Jones, 
Nicholas (Faith) Perry, Joseph (Amber) Perry, Christopher (Amanda) Perry and 
Michelle Perry and Brent Tasma; sisters, Doris Eby of Ionia, Donna (Marion) 
Cotton of Oscota and Mary Ann (William) Reynolds of Muir; brother, Bert Husted 
of Ionia and great grandchildren, Jim, Jack, Matt, Bryan, Nichole, Keirstin, 
Jaden, Devin, Briana, Braxton, Levi, Nicholas and Nautica.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and David and great-
granddaughters, Carry and Lachan Marie. 

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Lyons-
Muir Church with Pastor Bert Nelson officiating.  Memorial contributions may be 
made in his name to the family. Lake Funeral Home was entrusted with 
arrangements.
