Born March 27, 1906, in Woodville, Mich. she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret May Clark. She was married to Alzie Priest inSeptember 1924. He died in August 1984. She made her home in Ionia from 1926 until moving to Lyons in 1984. Surviving are a son, Melvin, of Ionia; six daughters, Gladys Womboldt and Opal Travis of Ionia; Fern Simmons and Wilma Wright of Saranac Fay Leiter of Lyons and Norma Dukes of Eeverett, Wash.; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; four brother, Kenneth Clark of Farwell, Robert and Virgil Clark of White Cloud and Gene Clark of White Hall; and two sisters,Mary Roosa of Big Rapids and Ida Cornell of Baldwin. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with the Rev. Byron Davey of Belding officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A Memorial for the American Diabetes Foundation has been established in care of the funeral home.
