Ionia Sentinel, 19 Sep 1988

Leona E. Priest, 53, of 839 Pleasant, Ionia, died at her residence Friday.  She 
was born in Ionia Dec. 24, 1924, the daughter of Alva Ralph and Ruth Walters.  
She attended Ionia Public Schools.  She was a retired worker of American Anodco 
Company.

Surviving are three brothers, Eddie Ralph of Ionia, Steven Ralph of Ionia and 
Don Ralph of Hampton, Gerogia; five sisters, Jane Wilson of Florida, Violet 
Gilia of Tucson, Arizona, Engrid Lynd of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Lucille Swanger 
of Ionia, and Josephine Anger of Florida; her step-father, Harold Mier of White 
Cloud.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir, 
the Rev. Paul Carmichael of the Lyons Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will 
be in Keefer Cemetery.
