     Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

      Angela "Angie" Joan Priest

Died January 16, 2025-age 60 at home.
Born May 9th, 1964 in Lansing,MI to David & Gloria Borton.
Angie grew up in Ionia,Mich. & graduated in 1982 from High School.
She was a lover of Music, a fan of Detroit Lions,Detroit Tigers & Univ. of Mich. 
Football,Going to car shows & the Ionia Cruise Night.
She worked several jobs in around Ionia, settled in social services.
She worked out of St.Johns, where she made many friends.
Angie retired early because of ill health.
She married Gordon Priest on September 18, 1997 & in a church ceremony on May 
12, 2000.
Survived by brother Gordon, Mother, Gloria, brothers, Lee Borton, Rob Borton & 
Elijah Sinklergray, children;Emily & Ethan, nephews, Joey & Alexis, Robie & 
Kaitlyn, Mike & Bethany & Brandon & Katelyn; several great nieces & nephews & 
cousins but considered Tish, Rona & Amanda as sisters.
Preceded in death by her father David Borton & special aunt Linda Sandoval. 
Sister-in-law,Missy Borton & Many other aunts, uncles & cousins.
She dearly loved her daughter Emily & son Ethan(Brandon).Never referred to them 
as step-children.Her grand-children,Lily, Miki, Averie & Mia were special.
Mass of Christian Burial at SS.Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday,January 
21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tom Brown celebrant.
Visitation will be a the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm. with 
a wake service at 7:30 pm.
