Capt. J.O. Probasco of Muir died last Friday at the Blodgett hospital in Grand 
Rapids, where he had been taken for treatment.  His death comes as a shock to his 
many friends in this county where he has been prominent in business and social 
circles for fifty years.  He is survived by a widow, a son, Harry, of Grand 
Rapids, and a daughter, Mrs. A.A. Stoddard of Muir.  Funeral services were held 
from the home in Muir Sunday afternoon, and burial made in the cemetery there.
