Loren J. Proctor, 61, passed away Saturday evening at his home at 205 West 
Bridge street following a short illness.  The Rev. Glenn Brooks officiated at 
services at Neller Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, and burial was in Portland 
cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, Zoa, and two sons, L. J. Proctor and Frederick B. 
Proctor, both of Portland.  There are eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edna 
Amon of Grand Ledge and a brother, Warren of Mulliken.

Bearers were Harrison Castle, Bud McGrain, Mitchell Sprout, Max Sprout, Dale 
Wilson and Wayne Austin.
