Warren E. Proctor, 83, died Wednesday May 6, at his home in Danby Township.  
Born in Gratiot County, he had resided in Danby 51 years and was a retired 
farmer.  

Memorial services were held Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. from the Barker Funeral 
Home in Mulliken.

He is survived by the widow, Rhoda; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret McDiarmid, 
Sunfield, Mrs. Bernice Whiting, Lake Odessa and Mrs. Nina Merritt, Lansing; 
one son Rex, at home; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jess Amon of Grand 
Ledge, several nieces, nephews.

Pallbearers were Willard Meier, Forrest Meier, Forrest Winters, Lester 
Winters, Wayne Carroll and Charles Roth.  Rev. Maurice Glasgow was the 
officiating clergyman with burial in Danby Cemetery.
