Funeral services for William Proctor, 60, of 4480 Charles road, will be from 
Leddick funeral home at 1 pm Feruary 27, with Rev. A.G. Gallert of St.Johns 
Lutheran church officiating.

Proctor died from an apparaent heart attack while snowmobiling about 1 am 
Saturday at the intersection of Hayden and Stone roads, north of Muir 
resulting in his machine ramming into a tree.

Born March 27, 1912, in Clinton, Ontario, Canada, he was a son of William and 
Jean Flimming Proctor and lived and attended school in Ontario.  He later 
moved to Detroit where he joined the United States Army and became a citizen 
of the United States.

For approximately 33 years he was employed by Detroit city government, 
retiring one year ago, then moved to his present home on Charles road in 
April, 1972.

Suriving is his wife.  Other surving relatives include three sisters.

Burial in Palo Cemetery.
