She had been ill three years with heart trouble. Surviving are one son, Clare Murphy, who is connected with the Bay City schools; one sister, Mrs. Alice Stringham, of Lansing and three grandchildren. Mrs. Puffer was a member of the Sebewa Corners Methodist church, the Ladies Aid society, the Sebewa Rebekah lodge and the Past Noble Grand club. She was also a member of the Sunfield O.E.S. Services were held Saturday at the Methodist church and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Harry Buchanan, and a former pastor, Rev. Thompson, of Woodland. Burial was at East Sebewa beside her husband who has been dead more than thirty years.
