Larry Russell Puffer
Larry Russell Puffer age 79, of Ionia  passed away April 14, 2020, in Ionia.

He was born August 10, 1940 in Kalkaska the son of Guy and Clemica (Smith) 
Puffer. Larry Married Elizabeth Greenfield November 11, 1959. She passed away 
November 19, 2017. He went on to marry Renae Walkington December 9, 2018. 

Larry worked for Buchanan Steel in Buchanan, Floorstyle Products in Hastings 
for 25 years and was an EMT for Mercy, Thornapple and Delton Ambulance 
service. He also worked in nursing at a long-term care facility before 
retiring. He was a member of Hastings Seventh-day Adventist Church. He 
enjoyed riding motorcycles, leather crafting and woodworking.

Larry is survived by his wife Renae of Ionia; children, Larry G. (Debra) 
Puffer of Lake City, Guy (Rebecca) Puffer II of Eau Claire and Louisa (David) 
Puffer of Big Rapids; mother-in-law, Thelma Walkington; sister-in-law, Susan 
"Tootsie" Greenfield; The Bryan and Donna Mattson family; nine grandchildren, 
eight great-grandchildren and Renae's family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; brother, Keith Puffer 
and sister, Connie.

A private graveside service has taken place.

Arrangements are being cared for by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
