Robert Alan Pugsley, 60, of Belding, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 9, 2012, at 
home under the loving care of his family and Ionia Area Hospice.

Robert was born on Jan. 26, 1952, in Detroit, the son of Robert A. and Gladys 
(Sorensen) Pugsley.

He graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1969 and later graduated 
from Ferris State University with a business management degree. He enjoyed trap 
shooting and was a member of the Kent County Conservation League.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Robert was married on 
April 23, 1977, in Belding, to Karen Shaw and she survives along with their 
children, Heather Pugsley of Lowell, Heidi and Brian Cummings of Cedar Springs, 
Holly Brokaw of Greenville, two grandchildren, Brie and Halie Cummings; and a 
sister, Carole and Bruce Quondamatteo.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. 

Funeral and committal services will be 11 a.m.  Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Interment will be in 
Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Alvah N. Belding Library.
