He was born on Sept. 4, 1970, in Kalamazoo the son of Richard and Bernadine (Ostrander) Pullum. Jim was a wonderful husband, dad, son and friend to all who knew him. He was a very successful and honest businessman who owned and operated Pullum's Auto Service since 1997. Jim enjoyed his "toys" and had the patience to teach his daughter, Sara to enjoy them as well. He loved his dogs Cloe and Bubba, was an avid Spartan fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved going to Silver Lake Sand Dunes with his jeep, family and friends. Jim loved his family, his daughter meant the world to him, he was always willing to help a friend in the time of need, and was an awesome house cleaner. Jim had more patience then anyone that I have ever met. His favorite saying was, "Have fun at school today" he..he.. as Sara went off to school or Teri to work. Over the years they hosted several foreign exchange students and he treated them all like his own. He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard. On June 17, 1995 he married Teri Lake after dating her for six years. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Teri; daughter, Sara; mother, Bernadine; in- laws, Cindy and John Sanderson and Larry Lake; sister-in-law, Deni Lowery; brother-in-law, John Lake; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at Shiloh Community Church, 8197 Heth St., Orleans with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.
